January 2026 Long Weekend Gathering – We’re back!!
We’re back!! Come and join us for the January 2026 long weekend – same place, same tribe, same vibe!! As you may know, we were blocked by insurance issues previously but have now sourced the insurances your committee deem necessary, hooray!! 🥳
We invite you back – to be part of a living community gathering together to celebrate life in nature and creativity, and finding new ways of being in community that are healthy, safe, free and inclusive. Our gatherings are clothing-optional and respectful of personal choice. Come back and celebrate with us!

The Outdoor Adventure Camps – Castle Mountain Site

IMPORTANT: Set your GPS to accept Ferry Crossings otherwise you may be taken the long way around on unpaved backroads
TICKETS
The GOOD NEWS is that we have kept our online ticketing price exactly the same as last year:
- Early bird online ticket $175 (per adult) – for 4 days & 3 nights with community lunch/dinner most days – SAVE $25
- $10 per child between 6 to 15 years old
- $1 per child 5 years old or younger
- $200 per adult at-the-front-gate ticket for all ticket purchases made after 7pm 21st January 2026 (cash only)
- $60 for a day visitor - purchase online and come for any one day, must leave site by 8pm that same day.
REFUND Policy - Entry ticket refundable minus $10 admin fee if you can’t attend, provided we receive your request by 1st January 2026.
NOTE: Trybooking processing fees of 2.5% plus $0.50 ticket fee added to the above for online bookings.
VOLUNTEERS
- A condition of your ticket is to donate 2 hours to volunteering
- No discounts or free tickets for volunteering, even our hard-working committee pays for their ticket
- Without kitchen volunteers – there can’t be communal meals, so please lend a hand!
It would be great if you could also assist us with the pack-up on Monday mid-morning.
SAFETY
Although the organisers endeavour to make the environment safe, the bottom line is that everyone needs to take full responsibility for their own health and take their own precautions at all times to keep themselves safe.
It is essential that you read the Code of Conduct and our Waiver before attending the gathering. You need to abide by the Code of Conduct at all times.
FOOD DONATION
To make yummy, vegetarian lunch & dinner meals together for the community – we rely on you to bring food to donate to our kitchen, particularly Fruit, Salad Ingredients and Vegetables.
SO WHAT USUALLY HAPPENS? Here’s some examples of what’s been co-created in the past:-
• Welcome Circles
• Communal lunch & dinner meals created together from food we bring & share
• Communal Chai Tea
• Interesting, engaging conversations
• Drumming & dancing
• Nightly warm fires at the Fire Pit
• Dress up or down as you please, this is a clothing optional event.
• Workshops are created by you & me, some usual examples are;
• Art – Life drawing or dot painting
• Writing – journaling, morning pages, poetry
• Dancing or movement or hugging
• Yoga, acro and laughter yoga
• Self defence
• Music – Singing or Drumming
• Breathing, nutrition & wellness
CONDITIONS
- NO PUBLIC ACCESS, this is a private event on a private property – ticket holders only
- No Glass or Bottles (Site Owner hire condition except for kitchen/meals)
- This is an ALCOHOL & DRUG FREE EVENT – Be high on life, we want to meet the real you!
- No pets permitted
- No nuts (Children with severe allergic reaction camp at this site)
- No individual camp fires – use fire pit only
- DO NOT access site’s buildings or outdoor adventure activity equipment
- Take your rubbish & kitchen surplus home with you
- If you get COVID symptoms and/or test positive you must leave immediately to keep the community safe
- No cars to move across site after dark, to keep everyone safe, especially children
- If you go outside our gathering mapped area e.g bushwalking / swimming etc. you do so at your own risk
- Be completely packed up and leave the site before 3pm on Monday 26th January 2026
- Abide by our Code Of Conduct and Waiver.
ESSENTIALS TO BRING
- Camping/sleeping gear, torch, chair, water bottle,
- Food for communal kitchen & meals e.g. perishables such as Vegetables, Salad ingredients, Fruit.
- Your own breakfast (no communal facilities) plus snacks and whatever else you want to eat or drink,
- Plate/Bowl, Cup & Cutlery,
- Hat and Sunscreen,
- Insect Repellent,
- Positive expectation of connecting with others in a welcoming community
PARTICIPATION
Thinking of running a workshop?
Post it on Facebook – it is a lovely, intimate way to share your knowledge and skills. Bring musical instruments – most nights we have drumming/music circle.
As a community we all participate in making them happen as we each offer a valuable and unique contribution towards the end result. Sydney ConFesters gatherings are about freedom of expression, responsibility and self-respect.
WASTE MANAGEMENT
Sydney Confesters is committed to LEAVING NO TRACE – please bring rubbish bags to remove your own rubbish, and help dispose of non-composable community garbage at the end of the gathering.

DIRECTIONS:
Make sure your GPS navigation software includes Ferry Crossings!
- At the bottom of hill just as you enter Wiseman’s Ferry (before hotel) – TURN LEFT to Webbs Creek Car Ferry (runs 24/7 free).
- After crossing the Hawkesbury River drive 100m. Take FIRST LEFT past signpost The Outdoor Adventure Company.
- Drive 200m to an intersection – take RIGHT side onto dirt road – this is Webbs Creek Road.
- Drive another 3km and you will see the Castle Mountain Log Entrance.
- 500m further on you cross a suspension bridge and the Castle Mountain campsite is another 400m from there – WELCOME HOME SYDNEY CONFESTERS.
